In terms of urban development, the station area will be clearly anchored locally in the cityscape with this building and functionally networked. Due to the diverse functions, a variety of networking structures will be established with the everyday life of the residents of Wörgl.
Due to the many employees from the region's businesses who will find apartments here with their families, the City Link will be regionally networked. And finally, speaking a bit euphorically, through the hotel and its location at one of the most important train stations on the western line, also "globally" networked.

The project consists of a base structure that accompanies the Angather Weg at a moderate height, has public functions and thus enlivens this as well as the station square. The station square is framed by the clear edge of the hotel tower, which rises above the base, and is articulated as a square. The sloping lines of the eastern hotel façade in plan reference the sloping position of the existing high-rise building on Bahnhofstrasse. This creates a certain ensemble effect that integrates this somewhat erratic existing building. In addition, reference is made to the city center.

The residential tower is the second large volume, more powerful even than that of the hotel, and contains apartments with a fantastic view. The west façade of the tower is also turned in the opposite direction to the east façade of the hotel, giving it an ideal south-west exposure. It is also tilted slightly to provide terracing for the apartments and also a variety of apartment sizes and typologies. However, in order not to cut the residential tower off from the central station square, either spatially or functionally, the plinth structure on which it sits is equipped with a generous staircase and seating steps that connect the pedestrian level of the square to the plinth and terrace level with ease.

However, the central location at the station has a known disadvantage: the noise emission of the railroad. The project as a whole is designed to minimize this. The first measure is not to place or open any recreation rooms in the direction of the railroad. Only the stairwells and elevator towers are located on the north facade. However, the glazing brings the impressive northern panorama inside the buildings. Furthermore, as already mentioned, the main facade of the residential building is also turned away from the sound. In addition, the facades

of the individual apartments, including those to the east, are directed even further away from the emissions. The resulting roughness of the facade is intended to refract sound and avoid reflections. This is also intended for the hotel facades. All visitors will be received by the side of the glazed plinth structure facing the station square. The restaurant sits on the "Beletage", at a sufficient elevation to look across the railroad tracks to the Brandenberg Alps and into the town of Wörgl with its surrounding mountains.

The roof landscape of the base building is equipped with intensive greenery and forms the "green lung" for the entire complex.

The side of the third floor of the residential building facing the green space contains communal and foyer areas for the residents and serves as an access and interface to the green space, or as a building entrance for those who come on foot.

On the roof of the hotel, which is economically and tightly organized in the room floors, is the "highlight" of the complex: Following the classic concept of the "city crown", the representative rooms of the city, the municipal council meeting room and the wedding hall, are positioned here. A spectacular view of the Tyrolean mountains is guaranteed for all guests and users of these halls!

The construction of this landmark will be a mass-saving reinforced concrete skeleton structure with a light-weight extension. For the hotel a construction method of prefabricated wooden boxes is planned. The event floor is also to be built in timber construction, which will also be noticeable and visible to the outside through the generous glazing. The hotel rooms are to be generously glazed, and printing on the panes will ensure privacy and sun protection. The residential building is to have as much glazing as possible, and external sun protection is planned.
The opaque façade sections are back-ventilated and clad with light-colored fiberglass concrete panels.
