On the 1st floor offices tea kitchens, meeting areas and sanitary facilities are laid out. The 1st floor can also be reached from outside via a generously dimensioned external staircase that leads into a two-storey foyer. Also located on the 1st floor is an atrium that also provides access to the escape staircase.
HT - Bau Company
The new office building for the HT-Bau company, including an adjoining, partly roofed storage area, is erected in immediate proximity to the existing headquarters.

The building is laid out on the western part of the site and consists of three storeys above ground level. The ground floor serves primarily as a plinth while all the servant spaces are located from the 1st floor upwards. At ground floor level car-parking spaces and storage areas are made beneath the “elevated” 1st floor. It is therefore possible to walk under the building.
Offices, tea kitchens, meeting areas and groups of sanitary facilities are laid out on the 2nd floor too. A generously sized roof terrace is made on the south side of the building. From this terrace there is also an escape stairs that leads down to the outside.
A joint roof over both the office building and the storage area extends as a continuum from the ground in the storage area up to the 2nd floor.
The facades of the building are articulated as follows: generous, full-height transom and mullion glass facades are made on all four sides of the building, giving it a high degree of lightness. Only at certain, consciously chosen positions are walls defined as the external
facade and form part of a solid external shell that is stretched across the entire building.The shell is constructed as a back ventilated facade and is clad with aluminium panels. The connecting roof above the building and the storage area is made as an intensive green roof, parts of which are extensive.
